The 6 M4EG Pioneer Projects in Ukraine are opening their doors for visitors

Four out of the six M4EG Pioneer Projects, which started operation in Ukraine in January 2018 under the EC “Mayors for Economic Growth” Initiative, are wrapping up in 2020, with the two remaining ones to be finalized next year.

They have different focus, operate on different territories, and try different solutions to local economic development issues and challenges. But all of them have already achieved some tangible results and are ready to share their knowledge and experience with their colleagues and peers from Ukraine and beyond.  

Each of the Pioneer projects has developed a basic study visit program to their municipality for anyone interested, which is available on their websites, and they are ready to receive groups and demonstrate their projects’ approaches and results:

• Nove Misto (https://cowboyky.ua/studyvisit/) and Severynivka (http://appleway.org.ua/news/navchalna-poizdka/) are ready to share experience in tourism development in rural areas;
• Hlyboka (https://hlyboka-gromada.gov.ua/programa-navchalnoi-poizdki-z-vivchennya-uspishnogo-dosvidu-v-sferi-spriyannya-miscevomu-ekonomichnomu-rozvitku-13-35-36-17-02-2020/) and Dolyna (http://dolyna.org.ua/piznavalna-ekskursiia-dlia-pasichnykiv-rozhniavskoho-kraiu/) have mastered agricultural cooperation processes;
• Slavutych
  http://e-slavutich.gov.ua/Entrepreneurs/International_Cooperation/SitePages/MayorsForEconomicGrowth.aspx and Baranivka (https://www.csi.org.ua/regrozv/csi_baranivka_youthdriven/programa-navchalnoyi-poyizdky-do-baranivskoyi-otg/) have made progress in providing business support services in their territories.
